GA.–When players on the Georgia Knights football team took the practice field in the spring for their first practice, their level of excitement and discipline was evident and worth noting. Whether completing team exercises, positions drills, or seven-on-seven competition. It was a team that looked motivated and ready to work on what it built from last season.
A year ago, Georgia Knights were looking for players, coaches and admin staff. One year later, Knights Head Coach Cedric Roach moves to Athletic Director and finds himself at the helm, looking to build on the foundation that his team laid while in the spring. While players will not dress out in pads for the first day (due to conditioning test), two words will reign supreme throughout practice: competition and energy. After the first practice, the standard of competition and high energy will be set, something Roach is excited about going forward.
